Still searching around... Got a G going for 75k, Nov 2009... Wat you guys think? There is also one recommend by one of the members, GL, 69k, Nov 2008.

Not cheap even 2nd hand... COE during that period cost few thousands only 2008. I think Nov 2009 should be be a better buy. Check mileage, undercarriage condition, should be OK because used 1 yrs + only....my 2cts

Okay, I had the same tot on the mileage too. But if I were to fix the auto sliding door on the G, will there be any great differences? Btw the GL uses remote to open the sliding door?

Bro, as far as i know, there is no "official" workshop in SG besides Kah Motor, who can do auto sliding door for Honda Freed.
Certainly, you can not consider Kah Motor, as they will not accept PI's cars. Mad

Eventhough if there is any, i don't think they ORIGINAL PARTS from honda, and i can guarantee that they will play fool with your budget $$$ pale

Having auto door function, for me personally, just an extra convenience to my passengers. sunny

It is really convenient and easy to use, (if you don't want to say "pamper" your passengers with its functions).
But to what i understand from bros who have G model, they have no objections nor complaint for not having it on board.
They already pleased with the other features cheers

Auto door can be controlled both from original main key remote as well as interior panel (beside steering wheel)

Ok, thanks for the info. Cuz GL really not a lot on sale on the 2nd market as it's too good a ride to let go. As for the auto sliding door, really will be very useful for my wife.

True......its useful to have it even though it's 1 side. But basic G model is just as good. Very Happy
