New Freed Owner :)
Hi all freeders
Will be collecting my second freed this coming week, so looking fwd to it
Maybe it belongs to one of the brothers here previously hehe
I was reading the thread on the recall issue in 2011 and realized the car i bot is one of those affected, but hopefully all r good now.
Anw, want to check with all here if anyone does their servicing in jb as I'm thinking of doing it in jb which shld be cheaper
Cheers

Hola bro,
Welcome on board,
2nd time having Freed, assuming you are satisfy with the features and function of this lovely ride
Some bros here have their service in JB. Yes indeed it is cheaper. Maybe others can help the lobangs?

Re: New Freed Owner :)
Thanks Ed & Fery
Enjoying my ride so far!
But I just realise my front 2 tyres are one brand and back 2 tyres are different brand although all are 195/60/R15.
Din check properly when collect my car last night
Any bros here know if this is going to compromise any safety aspect? So far the ride is still fine tho...
Thanks

Re: New Freed Owner :)
Bro mcmanamian,
I suggest, you return back to your agent/PI and verify with them that you're having diff brand of tyres... to the least, you could try to bargain with them to get new tyres by offsetting the current one.
Altough i would say, it is not affecting much on the safety features, but it's a kind of ackward to find front and rear tyres with diff brand...
Anyway, please do join us on a regular monthly meetup, should you need more info/sharing experience, believe me, our bros in this forum are very gentle, we would certainly be glad and be happy to share the experience with you about this lovely ride....any aspects e.g: Technical, Electrical, and certainly be ready with the poisons...
look forward to meeting you in our next meet up
Cheers

Re: New Freed Owner :)
Thanks Seven/Ed
I read online that at the very least front two shld be same brand and rear two shld be same brand as well if different from the front two so got worried when I realised my rear two are of different brands.
Luckily my dealer is gonna change it for me.
Talking bout poison, I'm sure I be poisoned till nothing left, my wife is already saying that the car looks uncle both on the interior and exterior and want to "design" the car lol

Thanks bro fery.
The website is not too friendly to me since all in bahasa indonesia haha
Anw seems like it is not cheap and may need to DIY to change it.
Bro Ed, i told my wife to get a cheap mirror and stick on the visor, she just gave me a "go n die" look hahaha
