Fuel consumption of your Freed
Good day everyone!
Few month ago I get my new freed from the shop. Everything is ok and same as i expected, only fuel consumption surprised me! Maybe something wrong with my car, but for 1.5 engine usual total about 7.5 km / 1 L is a bit too much, don`t you think so?
So, i was just interesting what is fuel consumption of your freeds? Thanks a lot for answering!

Hi Poul,
Good evening to you. My FC is ranging from 11.2-11.4, most of the time, driving in the city.
Cheers

Re: Fuel consumption of your Freed
Hola Poul,
Welcome on board.
For normal FC, with basic standard factory accessories, it should be in a range 1:12-1:13
Depending perhaps on modifications you have, eg: bigger rims or engine modifications, the FC surely may be effected.
If yours within a range 1:7.5, something is not as standard.
Btw, just small tip, to check the "accuracy" FC, try this out:
1. Once fuel fully loaded, reset the km distance.
2. The next refuelling, please compare the km range and total ltrs, you should be able to get the avg consumption km/ltr.
Please share with us your specifications, have you got this lovely Freed brand new or used car?
You may refer back to the shop where you got it.
Cheers

Re: Fuel consumption of your Freed
Thanks a lot for your attention!
Actually I`ve bought my freed in Thailand, Pattaya. Model - SE AT, everything is standard. That is my first-hand car from the Honda diller. Dont`t really know what could happen... From the start I thought fuel consumption of all Freeds is same as mine))

I can`t paste web-links on this forum yet, you can check my specification on thailand`s honda website. Yes my both sliding doors are automatic. It cost 820 000 baht, something about 25-27 000 $. But we also have "limited" specification, which cost 939 500 baht.

I use my fully loaded tank for not over 300 km. Usually I pass 260 km and get red zone.

Re: Fuel consumption of your Freed
My full tank gives 540 to 550 kn consistently or 12 km per lit.
Something very wrong in yours.
First check for fuel leaks with engine running. If ok, then check exhaust if you smell strong fuel smell from exhaust.

I`ve been in honda-service today. They did some tests and said there are no problems, only had to setup some sattings. Hope consumption will get to normal range.

Re: Fuel consumption of your Freed
wah bro howie, 18.2km/L? simply shocking!
when i go pump petrol, i took down my mileage and the amount pumped.
will drive till the refill icon appear and go see my mileage and do calculation lor!
maybe i try one more time see accurate or not!
but driving conditions were quite ideal other than the occasional boost!!!
