Engaging gear when engine is not running

Hi bros,

Does anyone know how to engage the gear in 'R' position when the engine is not running (but in ACC mode)? Please share if you know how to...

2 ways of doing that:

1, turn your key to on mode, then apply brake and shift your gear to "N", turn your key back to ACC.

2, stuck your car key(or any key) into the shift lock to unlock the gear lever, then move lever to N postion.

My guess is parking down slope.. For me, turn my wheel inward to side kerb and step brake full to lock.

Bro Chris,

I need to "tune" my reverse camera to the right angle .. that's why I want to set it in "R" gear while engine is off before i go to the back to adjust the cam's angle...

The small cover next to the gear shift lever, open this cover and stuck any key will do.

you can do as what I mantion "turn your key to on mode(no need to start your engine), then apply brake and shift your gear to "N", turn your key back to ACC. So you can shift your gear just between "N" & "R". Dont shift your lever into "P" untill you have done the adjustment. Hope this will help.
