Air Con servicing anyone?

Hi guys,

Anyone has done up any form of air con servicing to their beloved freed?
I have ran my Freed for 4.5years ~ 240k, and i am noticing the air con is not as cold as before.
And i notice "fog/smoke" blowing out from the air con vent during somedays, is abnormal right?

I have asked for advice from accessories shop, they told me my air con valve will "up lorry" soon as it is unable to control/regulate the freon gas normally.
Jin Jialat.....i was advised in order to replace the air con valve, standby to spend around S$300-S$350 due to alot of labour.
Labour - have to remove the whole dashboard, take one whole day!
I was very reluctant to let them do, as they're only a accessory shop only.
So now i am seeking for any advice from our bros' here if any reputable air-con to go for?

Current weather so hot better keep aircon unit in working condition!

Any other place to recommend in the east? Mine is also not blowing cold air out. Had a hot sauna drive this afternoon     

What the BS from this Air-con guy?   
First check and replace your air-con filter if needed.

As stated, no hanky panky or other types of services.....

Went into my Freed, inginte engine, ON air-con, ramp up the accelerator and check on his equipment.
Told me that my Freed's air con gas is below the acceptable level.
Help me to empty it and top up, told me if air con become hot again, meaning somewhere is leaking.
Charge me S$35. Fast service!

Cold air again in this hot weather!!! Yeah!!!
4.5years - 250k km -> 1st time service air-con.
I reckon air-con service should be done annually....

Yah, i know.....it should be done annually so as to keep the inner environment of the car to be fresh always.

Besides topping of the Freon Gas, what other Air-con service can we check on?
The air-con mechanic told, there are none other periodic service except if the air-con than come for servicing.
