Hey DADDYCOOL,

I am currently using a DIY installed in-car recorder as well, ie cable hanging out and stuff. I put the cable through the central cup holder (and closing it almost completely) to keep it taut.

Do you think it is advisable to get internal cabling done? If so, any lobang?

If people ram your rear, then case should usually be in your favour right? In that case, is there really any point in having rear recording as well?

erh bro cks, internal cabling is when you run the power source from your car battery, esp for those who require carpark survelliance!

and this is also not safe as the DVR might drain the battery flat that is why the use of such devices such as Power Magic.

as for me, i run the cables along the left side of the steering wheel, and if want to be neat can use tape to secure.

but i dun really bother as long can work and not affect my driving.

for the rear cam is just a tot, but will get those blackvue type (tube design) if i want.

why i tot of having is cos i already have the power source behind, and sometimes maybe can take video of pretty female drivers!!!
