tire in JB vs SG

any bros any advice or experience in changing tire in JB? Is it significantly cheaper as compare to SG?

My experience was in 1996 in Malacca where the tyre cost was about 50% more than in Spore for the same tyre, though it was made in Malaysia !!

i believe in MY should be cheaper! cos the market is big and they earn by volume!

but if for branded tyres (imported) might not be the case, best persons to provide more info will have to be bros Blue Angel or Suffy!!!

if you change expensive ones, you must use at least two years (i not rich) ...

but if change cheaper ones, can change every single year!!!

Thks bro Ed for sharing,friend of mine just got a quote from across the 2nd link, was quoted rm170 for Dunlop (not sure wat series),take in price for used tire is rm10. In spore I got quote for $100 (before nego) for federal tire..btw mine is r15, I will prob get one more quote from li hong auto before I change ...
Btw I'm goin for the cheaper type...as long as reasonably quiet....like u mentioned,if necessary just change if wear out sooner

I got my Falken Tyres (205/50/R16) for RM$260 at Taman U.
Economical type of tyres.
Mileage wise: used an average of 55k per set Rotate every 10k.
Already in my 3rd sets.
