Tyre pressure Empty Tyre pressure

Post by Jacklim Tue 29 Nov 2011, 9:35 pm

Hi guys,

I'm using falken 205/45/zr17 tyre.
But I don't know what is the pressure to pump.
Currently I pump all 4 tyre 35psi.
Should I pump more in the front and less in the back or vice versa?

Need recommendation . Thanks .

i think its individual... how many pax frequently u have... like me ... usually 4 pax... f35 r 32.. but sgp road its usually 32 f 32 r cause u wont stay on road more than 30 mins none stop...so u need the grip to make the tyre warm up faster... just my opinion ... maybe our bros here... can share their exprience..

mine 205/45 17" fill up with 220 kPa = 32psi
also not sure whether it's correct pressure

perhaps Oyabun or others can provide the web link to check the correct pressure according to tyre profile?

thanks in advance

205/45 17" - 220~230 kPa = 32~35psi

205/50 16" - 220~230kPa = 32~35psi

we are using the same size of all the tyres, so air pressure should be the same.

How about 195/60R15 88 tyres?
Sorry - I am car-idiot. Know nothing much about mechanics of a car Neutral
Just exchange my Altis for a won-der-ful Freed (used).
Previous owner changed the rim.
So I can't follow the recommended tyre pressure at 220?
The first time I tried to pump, I noticed that tyre pressure was around 255.
In the end, I was actually "releasing" air to 240 (instead of pumping). Dunno right or wrong?

Any expert can advise how much pressure should I pump (if most of the time, the freed is carrying 2 adult and 2 child)?

Thanks!

To measure tyre pressure correctly, it should be cold. Wat i did is to pump pressure in the morning when the road is not hot. .......the further you go, the hotter it gets.....& air expand when hot....so measurement done after driving some distance will not be accurate.
Just my 5cents thought...... Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
