Check in baggage

Intending to purchase body kit when I am in Bangkok. Will be taking air Asia. Any kaki got any idea whether I could actually check in the body kit?

I'm air asia fan... if you're talking about the whole bodykit (the complete set front, rear bumper and sideskirt) my personal suggestion to you bro, don't do it. You end up paying more or worst case can not check in.

I had experience brought in 5 sets zeus bodykit + roof rail from Jakarta. I arranged it through courier service. Though quite expensive, but somehow it was safe.

1. Make proper plan before bring in body kit
2. Ask your source whether they can arrange courier to SG
3. Do not take any risk bring it on your own, remember bodykit is plastic/fiber kind of type, it is very fragile and risk of breaking it, is certainly very high.

PS: Not a single passenger knows on what the ground-officers are doing when they staggering the luggage/baggage into the plane baggage compartment.

If you somehow saw surfing board being checked-in, yes, they can accept it, though the shape is odd, but it is consider slimmer and strong (to absorb the pressure in case bags/luggage drop on it)

Okay, I was also thinking fishing rod also can check in. And body kit is not heavy too. Lol. Airasia gave me a Malaysia number to call, suppose to be their cargo department. Ask me to check with them instead.

I will going over on July for holiday... So tot of buying and bring it back, if it's courier den dun think it's worth it... Btw bro Ken, how much you paid for your mugen body kit?
