Resetting of CVT. Note:This only apply to PI Freed with CVT gearbox.
1. Start yr engine, without any electrical system on ie radio, headlight, cabin light etc.
2. Apply handbrake and foot brake (thru out whole process)
3. Engage to N and leave it for 1 min.
4. Engage to D and leave it for 2 mins.
5. Engage to P, and off yr engine.

1. Reset CVT after you have change your CVT oil.
2. If happen that you feel your CVT is laggy, then try to reset it.

hi bros just to share myrecent experience ...

1) CVT fluid recommended change interval 40km, however some advice suggested 20km due to local climate 'harsh' environment, i suppose best is upon servicing check the condition of oil there & then to decide. I change mine at recent 20km servicing (without checking CVTF condition though, pure 'kiasu' & cost $$).

2) recomended HMMF for CVTF, however spark (comfort delgro) & khang automatic (my pi authorise workshop) uses honda CVTF, so i use honda CVTF.

cheers,

edlim1

I will change my CVTF at every 40km... DO NOT use any other ATF. Only Honda CVTF.
