My FREED ... My Paint job Part II
Last week i had the rear side panel of my FREED resprayed.
this was the reason why!
it was a very deep chip, till kenna the bare metal! then can see rust start to form so had to go fixed it up asap!
btw, rust is like a contagious disease and it will spread. worse of all it can spread below our FREED's paint job.
thus compromising the chassis integrity of our beloved FREED!
initially i tot go back to Jementah, the boss quoted me $50 for the respray and turnaround time was 24hrs (but i did not ask whether can be faster)

then l tot go ask another shop to compare, so i tried the one used by bro jj.

this is my short FR for
its a father & son show, sam the son (main man) is quite a nice fella and easy to talk to. his initial quote was $80 but reduced it to $60.
i also asked for my rear skirting which had cracked and he offered $40. so total cost was $100, quite reasonable to me.
but the main selling point was that it could be completed in 2 hours (the hot played a major role!).
Overall, the finished product was not bad! and time was fast! can RFP but only part to note was the paint code he used.
better to show him & confirm the paint code of your FREED, esp those with pearl effect!
my verdict :
PS: FR -- field report / RFP -- return for paint!

Re: My FREED ... My Paint job Part II
alamak i almost forgot to thank our inhouse doctor, doc stein!
i took this opportunity to visit his new clinic.
despite his busy schedule, he entertained me for a good 15 mins or so!
his clinic very stylo milo, and got free drinks provided too (H2O)!
His forte is cosmetic enhancements, he cannot turn back time and make you young again but he can make your heart feel young! one simple way he recommend is to own a two wheeler with a custom airbrushed helmet! one & only in SG so as to evoke the "i am special" feel!
This is his personal helmet with the "Crow" theme! the "Crow" represents a dark but cool character, less talk more action! the kind of man doc stein is!
PS: personally i felt he should get a new helmet with a new character ...
... the "Crow" too dark liao ...
... he can consider using this ....

cheers,
yup they have their own, the last row of shops at Kaki Bukit Autobay all do painting, so you can actually get a few quotations.
and all should have their paint/oven booth!

Would like to recommend another workshop for spray painting and car servicing, http://www.autodynamac.com/. Quite reliable service, had tried their spray painting service.
