Meet up August 2011

Guys,
August 2011 is coming, and its time to have monthly gathering again...
Any idea to arrange meet up (where and when?)

If i can suggest, for August 2011, we do special meet up:
suggest location: Kalang Car Park F,
suggest timing: Saturday 6/8/11 3:00pm onwards.
Topics DIY, followed with group photo taking.

What i can provide DIY:
1. Chrome tank cover (stickers)

2. Key hole magnet cover - please see following topic

3. Caliper red paints maximum 3 cars due to limitation of time.
I'm sponsoring the material a.k.a Free Of Charge of the above items, but please note it will be very limited stocks (with "first come and order + first serve" basis)






For item 1 and 2,
Upon receiving confirmation from you, I will prepare the stickers and the magnet cover in advance

For item 3
Anyone who'd like to have calipers (brake covers) red painted like me, we can do it together.
(more hands guarantee faster, estimation 1/2 hour for 2 calipers -left and right)
Thinner and paints FOC (free of charge from me as i still keep the previous stock),
but please get the small soft brush and unused clean cloth.
If you have make confirmation but you are not available on the D-day, with regret i will proceed to those whoever come first.

Reasons on doing this:
As I will be MIA for awhile due to our family is expecting our 2nd bundle of joy by mid August 2011
Therefore i'm called to share something with you guys before hands
However i will keep log in to the forum on daily basis

So, please let me have your comment, suggestion and/or active participation that is certainly appreciated.

Ikea tampines sounds good... Shade, lots of lot and got restaurant. But will we get complaint?

I think, they will complain and security may ask us to go from the car park

FYI, last December'10, we had 2nd brief meet up at Ikea Tampines car park, (after Kallang meet up convoyed to Tampines) but in Tampines, it was only short meet up, less than 1 hour, so not too obvious for the security to eye on us.



No doubt, the facility over there is convenience, but considering the agenda of this meet up is DIY, i don't think it is a proper place to pimp our rides overthere

Anyway, at Kallang, though shaded place is limited, but we can find the "bigger tree" or at least we can bring umbrella ella ella ella
More important, Kallang is considered located in the central, so easier for everyone to reach there.

Big Splash car park must pay because Electronic Gantry, and don't forget the car park space also very limited on weekend.
Kallang = Manual Gantry, we never pay when we gather there.

IKEA Tampines carpark big so if do mods just avoid the camera area!
