Rear door handle cover
Anyone got any idea on how to remove the rear door handle cover.. Just got my chrome cover and feel like doing it myself instead of getting workshop to install..

Re: Rear door handle cover
wah, bro, where did you get the chrome cover? order through internet?
Please share the good lobang, thanks
i will post the picture how to open the pin of the door handle, it's kind of simple but bit tricky, but i'm pretty sure you can do it by yourself.
Try DIY ok?, i will update the picture soon

Re: Rear door handle cover
Bro Madman, here you go!
For other bros, be careful this is poison
These pictures can give you a clear idea
1. Tools that you need is ONLY plastic rope
2. Make a single or two tie knot(s), make sure it is not too big nor too small (as picture)
3. Insert the plastic rope in between the gap of the grip handle and the door cover.
4. Slide the plastic rope as per movement (in red), make sure you "hit" one of the end of the pin
5. You can imagine about the pin position. It is clearly shown as per the picture
hope this helps
Enjoy for having the lovely chrome door handle
btw, may i know how much total you spent on it? (unit price+delivery up to SG)

Re: Rear door handle cover
Hahaha ok no problem bro, i'll provide the pics for the boot handle once i able to get it from the web,
Btw, mine is not changing the whole set, but it's paste-on the original boot handle. So i'm not sure whether you're set is paste-on or replacement.

Re: Rear door handle cover
Ok if it is replacement, you shall have few pins, or else it would be lining 3m sticker only.
Btw, as i have not find the pics yet, these are some few things you must do,
1. Open the boot
2. Open and detach the booth plastic cover (the whole cover must be taken/detached)
3. From behind pls focus only for the few pins that are attached with the handle cover, if not mistaken the pins color is black/white. Pressing each pins both its side (left and right) from the body socket
5. Once detached, you can replace with the new one.
I already have the pics, but have not uploaded yet as i'm not using pc.
Will update surely soon.

With these 2 pictures, you can easily allocate where the pins are...
1st, pins located for the boot
2nd, pins located for the handle (in red)
Hope it helps!
