A brief intro to the 7 Deadly Sins - Envy

Envy: a feeling of discontent or covetousness with regard to another's advantages, successes, possessions, etc.

Envy is that Seven Deadly Sin that we all try to claim we don't submit to on a regular basis. Me? Envious? Absolutely not. I love my life. But, I would say that this Deadly Sin is the most dangerous, because it is one that no one seems to be able to confess to.

Not to be confused with jealousy, Envy is between the one who is envious and what he or she covets. The "what" is something not someone, as is the case with jealousy. Think of it in this way. Envy is the emotion you feel when you want something someone else has; jealousy is the emotion you feel when you fear the loss of someone or something being taken from you.
