I am not Stupid.... Lagi not Stupid...

yes my dear HFSG members... lets start the month of MAY with the second installment of...
.... I am not Stupid!!! Lagi not Stupid!!!
for today's DIY, it is something many drivers have in their rides...
a cosmetic enhancement product... the pedals cover!!!
yes, we have had some postings of our members' pedals cover,
with the most recent from bro Zach,
so now its my turn to showcase mine!!!
lets begin...
Original outlook
The simple instructions
The set i bought... yes its CF design!
One down... one more to go!
Walah! the finished look!
now lets proceed with post mortem of the DIY. if you tot the easiest part of the install was the purchase...
you tot wrong!!!
for what i have learnt from this buy is that you must be careful and open your eyes! 
cos usually package will says suitable for most cars... and not ALL cars!!!
so this set i acquired was not exactly fitting for FREED pedals (covers are ok, only the brackets)
matter of factly, i tot was a walk in the park... a breeze...
but the bloody breeze never came!
the brake pedal was quite simple but only can secure the top two holes, with use of db sided tape too!
but its a diff story for the accelerator pedal... what can i say...
cos the brackets given cant really secure the cover... so had to improvise... with the help of more db sided tape!
for the entire install, i took around an hour 45. really back breaking effort!
alas the finished look washed away all the pain!
PS: the seller told me this set bot from US of A... i turn the package and told him...
"see bro, made in Taiwan!"

Bro I also bought similar Mugen replica. Also cannot fit nicely. Need to fabricate a plate to secure e pedals. But still no time to do yet. Will share when I complete .....

well i had to sacrifice wat ever rest time available...
very tired... running on Inspiration... inspiration by fellow members!!!
PS: some advice for our bro chris... when your koo koo bird comes, you will have not much time!
better enjoy now...
btw if you need a bigger place,can always sell your current place and move to SK!
