Touch-up Paints and Stickers
After having my MC today, while my head were spinning around, all by sudden the idea strike my brain,
I did DIY based on imagination of the "spinning wheels"
I would suggest, you do the same also... it is really lovely
and also, touch up paints only cost me $2.80
On the same time, i also order and print special silver chrome stickers
What a great combination (paints on tyres and stickers)

Re: Touch-up Paints and Stickers
Btw, pls do not use this touch up paint, as it is not for rubber and also not heat resistant.
Remember our tyres are always spinning against the asphalt as it generates heat. The tyres surface somehow will "expand". Therefore this type of paint is not flexible enough to follow the expand of the tyres.
You should find the heat resistant paints that suit for the rubber surface. Then the next step is very simple, there will be some gradation line where you can easily apply the paints. Remember, be patience one by one, you'll be happy seing the result in the end.
Let me modify this DIY again with the correct paint type. And this time i think bro jack will do it first hahaha
But the idea having the paints on the tyres certainly will make different look!!! Even only chicken leg rims
Am i correct bro FREED GB3??? :p

Re: Touch-up Paints and Stickers
hi bro edlim1, first of all thank you for all the compliments, you just simply need "extra" time and little effort to achieve that, which are quite simple old traditional rules.
Here are few recipes of mine on maintaining the paintwork
1. NEVER wash under direct sun exposure.
2. Soonest after rainy day, if you don't use the car anymore on that day, spend time to splash all body with normal tap water, wipe and dry it off.
In this section, you must be always consistent and persistent with the rules, you just can not wait until the next day to wipe the rainy water from the car body
3. It is not necessary always to use liquid soap to wash the car after rain. Your personal judgment may determine whether or not necessary to use liquid soap.
4. As mine is OPC, normally on weekdays (after office hour/dinner) i will spend at least 1 hour to wipe the car with normal water in a medium size bucket/pail. Trust me, there will always be dust and light particle on your car body after sometimes that need to be cleaned.
5. Once in 4-5 weeks, manual hand polish and light wax.
All the above i use AUTOGLYM products.
Liquid soap: bodywork shampoo conditioner (green color)
Wax and polish: Aqua Wax (blue color)
That's it. So i hope it helps you
FYI, i never use grooming center, all i do it by myself ever since i have my Freed

Re: Touch-up Paints and Stickers
bro sevenseaters i trust my eyes & i can pick up well taken care of rides by the look! kudos to u ... i thought i already quite take care of my ride myself liao, i agree to your approach but its really the effort loh, but nothing beats a sleek lookin ride , i manual wash every once a week, use to do the wash down thing u did after rain but again really need effort loh. Currently im using turtle wash & wax, from my experience i will not use wash & wax product again cos the 'wax' thing will leave a layer of wax (of course) on the wind screen & mirror, ends up blurr blurr after a day or two, also i notice the wax tends to 'attract' dirt/duct ... perhaps due to its nature as wax ... so i will look out for a plain old shampoo for the wash after i used up my current wash & wax,im planning to try out durogloss AIO (all-in-one) product as well

Re: Touch-up Paints and Stickers
eh bro chris... just got a brilliant idea...
your dedication is truly inspiring...
i believed all bros & sis really admire the love you have for your ride...
so if we paid you for your 'special services' for our rides...
you can earn extra pocket money for more poisons...
and our FREEDs will be well taken cared by you...
a superb WIN-WIN situation!
PS: if your charges in IDR, i sure be the first!
can even consider move to HV n be your neighbour!

Re: Touch-up Paints and Stickers
hehehe sorry bro, don't mean to reject this idea,
Thanks but no thanks.
i don't think the pleasure and satisfaction can be measured with extra $$$
It's the passions and efforts that play the roles.
If you do it by yourself, there would be "esteem" and "satisfaction" value to the car itself.
So do it your-self ok? hehehe
